How to Become a Member

Membership is open to individuals working in, or associated with, municipal tax, revenue, assessment, POA/APS and related functions. Joining OMTRA is easy—simply complete the online membership application to gain access to all member benefits.

Membership period

OMTRA annual memberships are valid from January 1 to December 31 each year. Please note that after your first year of membership, fees paid after the stated due date will incur an administrative late fee of $50 plus HST.

Members have access to a range of education and training opportunities, including the Municipal Revenue Administration Program (MRAP) delivered through Seneca College, designed to build strong technical knowledge and practical skills.

Eligible members are also encouraged to pursue the Certified Municipal Revenue Professional (CMRP) designation—a respected credential that recognizes professional excellence, commitment to the field, and leadership within municipal revenue services.
